Shipping Information

Order turnaround

I am currently shipping orders on Monday and Thursday mornings, plus occasional additional days during busy times (e.g. Christmas). If you need your item sent quickly or have any other delivery requests, please ask as early as possible (ideally before ordering) and I’ll do my best to help.

Some items have components that require them to be made to order (e.g. pin/brooch backs and magnets). The glue needs to dry for 12-24 hours so you may miss the cut off for the next shipping day.

You will be emailed a shipping confirmation once your order has shipped.

Editing or canceling your order

If you need to edit your address (same country only), reply to your order email as soon as possible. Orders cannot be edited unless it does not affect the price or shipping cost (e.g. a different card design is fine. A notebook instead of a card is not). Otherwise you will need to cancel your order and place a new one. Orders can only be cancelled before they are shipped so you will need to be quick. If you miss the cancellation window or change your mind later, you are welcome to refuse delivery or return your order for a refund. Please read my returns policy for more information and check your country's consumer laws so you know your rights.

Personal & Public Holidays

Royal Mail do not collect mail on public holidays and I will ship on an alternative date instead. These will be listed on my Shipping Schedule, along with any minor service updates or delays. For major incidents or longer personal holidays, I will add a notice on the cart page before checkout.

Delivery Times

UK orders are sent by Royal Mail and usually arrive in 1-5 days.
International orders are sent by Royal Mail Standard Airmail and usually arrive in 5-21 days but can be delayed at customs.

Tracked Delivery

Please choose a tracked service if you need extra peace of mind or want to keep an eye on progress. Orders will be sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24 (UK only) or Royal Mail International Tracked (International). Please note that tracked orders are not dispatched any faster. Tracking may not update quickly or often when things are busy and may only update once it arrives in your country.

Shipping Prices

Shipping is added separately at checkout as "free" shipping means the shipping cost is included in the product price and you will be overcharged for buying multiple items. A table of shipping costs is now available here so you can check the cost of shipping before placing your order. I keep these as low as possible and do not make any profit on shipping.

EU, EEA, Switzerland, Türkiye & Northern Ireland - unfortunately, orders are temporarily closed on all my shops due to conflicting advice about what is required to meet the new GPSR safety regulations. I will provide an update in April 2025.

Last Order Dates For Christmas

I no longer provide last order dates and delivery for Christmas is never guaranteed. Please order as early as possible and choose a tracked service.

Shipping Address

It is your responsibility to provide a correct address and I cannot be held responsible for missing and wrongly delivered orders if you provided incorrect information. Please check your order confirmation email carefully and inform me of any issues as soon as possible. I usually do not see your address until the printed postage label is being applied.

Customs and Duty

You are responsible for all duties/customs fees that may be applied by your country. The customs form will state the accurate value and origin of the items included and will be marked ‘sale of goods’. Please don’t ask me to falsify this information.

Lost or delayed items

If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery times, don't panic!

Tracked orders:
Please check the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email for updates (email me if you've lost it!). No updates usually means the package is sitting in a distribution centre or customs and has not yet been scanned/checked. It should move on eventually. If it is marked delivered but you do not have it, check the delivery photo and GPS co-ordinates for additional help in locating it. Still no luck? Go to next steps below.

Untracked orders
Without tracking, you will need to be patient - at least 21 working days. Try the next steps while you wait.

Next Steps
Check your address is correct and ask your household, neighbours, building supervisor, mail room, postie and/or local delivery office if they have seen it. Email me (reply to any of your order emails) with all the information you have and I will let you know any updates from my end (e.g. returned to me or known Royal Mail/customs delays). Once I have all the details, we can discuss a replacement or refund.

Fraud

Shopify checks for fraud as part of the order process. If an order is flagged as possible fraud, I reserve the right to cancel the order and refund in full without explanation. If you think I am making a mistake with your order, feel free to contact me to discuss.

Care of items

Any hand or machine washing of items is done at your own risk, unless clearly stated in the item description. Frequent exposure to rain, strong sunlight, damp etc. should be avoided. All items are created and stored in a smoke and pet-free environment.

Gift Wrapping & Gift Messages

While I do not offer a gift wrapping service, I'm happy to make your order look pretty with patterned paper bags, tissue etc. and add a personal message – just leave a note at checkout or email me. I can only handwrite very short messages - anything longer will be printed by computer. This service is only available when sending the package direct to the recipient.
