Asking For Trouble is a small independent business so how do you know it's safe to buy from us?
1. There is no us, just me!
I'm Marceline Smith and I run Asking For Trouble all by myself. I design the products, order them, package them, quality check everything, answer your questions, ship your orders, update (and build) the website, and much more! If you have any problems or questions at any point, know that you're dealing with a real person who cares about these products more than anyone else could, and knows everything about every order and product. I'm active around the internet and don't hide behind a company 'we'. Follow me on Twitter or read my blog (or even google me - I've got an uncommon name!).
2. I use established, trusted companies.
You don't need to worry about your credit card details, your package or your personal information. My shop runs on Shopify, who provide ecommerce services to huge brands worldwide and handle credit card payments. I'm also a verified PayPal business so your payment is protected and can be claimed back if anything goes wrong. All orders are shipped using Royal Mail, which includes insurance in case of loss. I abide by all UK online selling laws regarding cancellations, returns and refunds.
3. I've been doing this a while.
I've been selling online (and paying my taxes!) as Asking For Trouble since 2007. My business has grown in leaps and bounds since then and I feel confident in my products, suppliers, service providers and methods. While there's always something to learn, and everyone makes mistakes, Asking For Trouble is a big part of my self-employed income and I do everything I can to keep it running smoothly.
4. I do my best to keep you happy.
I design these products myself so I want you to love them. I offer returns and refunds if you're not happy and keep shipping costs as low as possible, especially internationally. I also have regular offers to sweeten the deal, including extra special offers just for repeat customers.
5. I have a lot of positive customer feedback
Don't just take my word for it. All customer feedback from my Etsy shop is available to view publicly and often includes their own photos. I can't edit or remove reviews and they're tied to the buyer's account so you know they're real people and real opinions. And if you feel safer using Etsy, go ahead - I offer the same service to everyone.
